2023: Kebbi APC guber candidate pledges support for traders if elected

Nasiru Idris, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial flag-bearer in Kebbi, has pledged his support for traders to boost the state’s economy if elected.
He made the pledge in an interview on the sidelines of the first anniversary of the Market Traders Association of Nigeria (MATAN) in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.
Mr Idris, also the Kauran Gwandu in Gwandu Emirate, promised to extend all the necessary support to the association to grow its members’ businesses.
He assured that he would consolidate on the footprints of the incumbent, Governor Atiku Bagudu, towards building a robust economy.
Mr Idris added that the association members deserved to be supported for the progress and development of Kebbi.
He urged the association to continue to extend its support to the state government and APC to ensure continuity.
“A vote for APC is a vote for prosperity, economic growth and Industrial diversification of the state,” the candidate said.
Mr Idris appealed to all and sundry to rally around the party to take the state to greater heights, assuring, “they will never regret electing APC at all levels.”
While commending the association for organising the programme, the candidate extolled the cordial working relationship between it and the governor.
