Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur share points as EPL resumes

Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur both shared point in the first game of the English Premier League after the long World Cup break.
The Bees had a good start at Gtech Community Stadium taking the lead twice before Spurs got their rhythm in the game.
Vitaly Janelt gave the Bees an early lead 15 minutes into the game, leaving Spurs one goal behind Brentford into the second half.
Ivan Toney doubled Brentford’s lead a few minutes into second half. However, Spurs bounced back into the game grabbing a point from the game.
In the 64th minute, Harry Kane pulled an equaliser for Spurs, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg levelled up for the club in the 74th minutes.
Spurs came close to scoring a third goal but were unlucky as Kane’s header hit the bar close to the end of the game.
Spurs remain 4th on the EPL log with 30 points in 16 games, while Brentford are 9th on the log with 20 points in 16 games.
