2023: Tinubu will continue Buhari’s ‘good’ works, says Gov Yahaya

Governor Inuwa Yahaya says Bola Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, will continue the “good” works of incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari and will not disappoint Nigerians.
Mr Yahaya stated this when he paid a visit to the palace of Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, the Lamido Gona, in the Amada community of the Akko local government.
He said President Muhammadu Buhari performed well in delivering good governance to the people of Nigeria.
“We need consolidation. That’s why we are going to vote for Tinubu. Tinubu has promised to continue with the good works of Buhari by ensuring good governance for the good (of the) people,” said the Gombe governor. “I assure you he will not disappoint.”
Mr Yahaya said his visit was to thank the community for supporting his administration. He urged the community to vote for APC candidates in the 2023 general election.
At Garko ward in Akko LGA, the governor appealed to supporters to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and vote for APC candidates from top to bottom, declaring that the APC is the only party concerned about the well-being of the people.
He expressed confidence that with the introduction of the Bimodal Voter Authentication System (BVAS), only politicians with supporters could win elections, with no more room for electoral fraud.
“We are confident with the introduction of BVAS that Tinubu and all APC candidates will win in 2023 because we have performed well and we have supporters,” the Gombe governor stated.
