Tinubu promises to develop Zamfara’s agriculture, mining potentials

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Saturday promised to promote agriculture, mining and general development in Zamfara.
Mr Tinubu, who made the promise at the APC presidential campaign rally in Gusau, described the large turnout of supporters as a good step for the party’s victory.
“If elected, I will develop mining and agricultural potentials in Zamfara. We are going provide massive development in Zamfara.
“If I become the President of this country, I will use mining and agricultural opportunities to create employment opportunities for Zamfara citizens,” Mr Tinubu promised.
He lauded Governor Bello Matawalle and former governors of the state, Ahmad Yarima, Mahmud Shinkafi, Abdul’aziz Yari and Kabiru Marafa, for restoring the peace and unity of the APC in the state.
Earlier, Mr Matawalle commended the party supporters for the turnout at the rally, adding the state APC chapter would mobilise massive votes for the party.
Mr Matawalle urged the party stakeholders to embark on grassroots mobilisation to canvass for more votes for the APC.
The rally was witnessed by a mammoth crowd of supporters from the 14 Local Government Areas of the state.
