Buhari to present 2021 budget next week
Senate President Ahmed Lawan on Tuesday said the National Assembly would receive the 2021 Appropriation Bill from President Muhammadu Buari next week.
“I am aware that the executive will be presenting the 2021 budget estimates by next week,” Mr. Lawan said at the resumption of plenary Tuesday morning.
In 2019, the National Assembly passed a N10.6 trillion budget into law for the 2020 fiscal year.
The approved budget was slightly above the N10.33 trillion proposal that Mr. Buhari submitted at the time.
