Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, went on a voter engagement drive as he was filmed in a Lagos shopping mall licking ice cream while engaging the shop owners.

The Lagos governor is trying hard to secure his state which fell to the Labour Party during the presidential elections in which the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, was defeated by Peter Obi.

Mr Sanwo-Olu has upped his public engagement game lately with an unusual social media activity where he has been addressing Lagosians more.

A number of factors, however, continue to render the March 18 guber polls unpredictable as the Labour Party’s candidate in the state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, continues to pull more support.

Another candidate that hopes to stop Mr Sanwo-Olu’s reelection bid is Abdul-Azeez “Jandor” Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
