Stay at home if you will not vote APC, MC Oluomo threatens Igbos in Lagos

Notorious Lagos thug, Musiliu ‘MC Oluomo’ Akinsanya, has threatened Igbos who will not vote for the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s governorship election, to stay at home.
“We have begged them. If they don’t want to vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them, mama Chukwudi, if you don’t want to vote for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home,” MC Oluomo said in pidgin English as seen in a viral video shared on Twitter.
He was charging APC supporters.
Mr Akinsanya, leader of the Lagos motorparks management committee, is notorious for commanding the militant wing of the ruling APC in Lagos. His threat could scare potential voters away from exercising their franchise.
Operatives of the APC have in the last one week deployed all manners of tactics to ensure success at the March 18 governorship and state assembly elections. This was after their shocking defeat at the hands of the Labour Party during the February 25 presidential polls in the state.
In the presidential election, Labour’s Peter Obi polled 582,454 votes to defeat former Lagos governor and APC flag bearer Bola Tinubu, who polled 572,606 votes.
Mr Tinubu was subsequently declared winner of the election after total results from 36 states were collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
However, Mr Obi’s unprecedented victory in Lagos State has positioned his party’s candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, as a major challenger of Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the APC in the governorship election scheduled to hold on Saturday.
