Anthony Joshua defeats Jermaine Franklin

Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on Saturday won a comeback fight against Jermaine Franklin.
Joshua defeated Franklin in the 12th round, claiming his first victory after suffering two consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk
Joshua won Franklin by unanimous decision scores of 118-111 and 117-111 (twice) at the O2 Arena, London.
This was Joshua’s first fight without a world title attached in the past seven years.
Franklin, 29, an American boxer, holds an impressive 21-1 record. He suffered his first career defeat to Dillian Whyte through a majority decision last November. Tonight’s is his second defeat.
Joshua, before now, between 2016 and 2018, held unified the WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles.
He suffered his first major defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr. Joshua bounced back in 2019 from a defeat, reclaiming his title from Andy Ruiz Jr.
