EPL: Chelsea suffer another home defeat to Brighton

Chelsea maintained their 11th position on the English Premier League log after another home defeat to Brighton on Saturday.
The Seagulls Albion further compounded Chelsea’s misery with a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues started out well, appearing strong and determined to end their disastrous poor form as Conor Gallagher scored 13 minutes into the game.
But Brighton will not go into the first half break without cancelling out Chelsea’s lead. Danny Welbeck struck, levelling for the visitors in the 42nd minute.
Brighton took control of the game from Chelsea in the second half, grabbing a win and ensuring Chelsea remained 11th on the table.
Unimpressive Chelsea have continued downward movement on the EPL log, possibly missing out on UEFA Champions League qualification this season.
The Blues have now consecutively lost two home games since Frank Lampard took over as interim coach after Potter was sacked about two weeks ago.
