Oyakhilome Bello, national youth leader of APC, U.S. chapter, says it will take more than magic to fix Nigeria’s challenges.

Mr Bello said this to journalists while reacting to the high expectations of Nigerians on the new administration led by President Bola Tinubu.

He said Nigerians should cooperate with the new administration to work things out.

“I understand that expectations are very high, but I want to tell Nigerians that it will not be rocket science or by magic, so let’s exercise patience and support the new government to work things out.

“The new government will definitely forge ahead on the right path; make the right decisions that will give us progress, prosperity and a new Nigeria that we all had hoped for,” he said.

Mr Bello said the new administration’s programmes and policies would create an enabling environment for businesses and youths to strive in the country.

He said the move would help curb the number of Nigerian youths that travel abroad for greener pastures.

He urged Mr Tinubu to form an inclusive government that would ensure youths benefited from his government in terms of political appointments.

He said diaspora youths were willing to return to the country to work with the new administration and contribute their quota to national development.

“I am the chairman of the APC Youth and Employment Committee, and we are working on some proposals that we will send to the Tinubu administration for implementation,” he said.

However, Mr Bello said the party needed to work on Nigerian youths specifically to understand situations in the country better.
