Kano: Governor Yusuf appoints SSG, others

Governor Abba Yusuf has approved the appointment of Bappa Bichi as secretary to the state government (SSG) and other key principal officers.
This is contained in a statement issued Tuesday by his chief press secretary Bature Tofa.
Mr Yusuf also approved the appointments of Shehu Sagagi as his chief of staff, Farouq Kurawa as principal private secretary, Abdullahi Rogo as chief protocol officer and Mr Tofa as CPS.
The statement said all the appointments took effect from Monday and that the appointees were selected based on track records, commitment and loyalty.
