Nasarawa Governor Abdullahi Sule says the state has received federal government palliatives to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal in the country.

Mr Sule acknowledged this on Friday during a visit to the speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abdullahi, at his residence in Lafia.

Mr Sule revealed that the palliative will be rolled out when commissioner nominees are inaugurated next week.

The governor appreciated the federal government for the aid and promised reasonable distribution of the palliatives.

He commended the speaker and his colleagues for the speedy confirmation of the commissioner nominees and assured them of a continued good working relationship.

Besides, the governor said plans are in top gear to replace the commissioner-nominee of Nassarawa Eggon Local Government, Haruna Musa, who is indisposed and could not go for confirmation.

Responding, the speaker appreciated the governor’s visit and sued for the sustained relationship between the executive and the legislature.
