EPL: Tottenham Hotspur sink Manchester United

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur had an impressive outing on Saturday, beating Manchester United 2-0 in the English Premier League.
Eric Ten Hag’s side could not build on their first win against Wolves, bowing to pressure from a better Spurs side.
An entertaining first half went goalless as both teams failed to find the back of the net but Spurs returned into the second half stronger, netting two goals to win all three points.
Pape Sarr gave the home side the lead in the 49th minute, latching unto a deflected cross and firing into Andre Onana’s net.
Spurs kept on dominating the game, pushing harder for a second goal which came in much easier than the first.
In the 83rd minute, United defender, Lisandro Martinez, deflected Ben Davies’ shot into the net, doubling Spurs’ lead.
With a two-goal lead margin in the 83rd minute, Spurs contained the game, handing United their first defeat this season.
While the victory signals hope for Spurs, United fans are forced to ask if the season will be better than the previous one.
