Season 8 of the Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ edition began on July 23 and the race for the 120 million naira prize money has been getting more intense. Five housemates have been evicted from the house; Princess, Tolanibaj, Frodd, Uriel and Kiddwaya. The reality show is in its fifth week and five housemates are up for possible eviction – Adekunle, Angel, Ike, Pere and Seyi. This week has been crammed up with wrangling and tittle-tattles.

Alex and Mercy have a go at each other

Following the Guinness task, Mercy claims that Alex is not a promoter of love and light and is constantly angry when her team fails to complete assignments.

Mercy also attacked Alex for using Prince as her mouthpiece.

Mercy said, “Prince, why are you defending her, are you her mouthpiece” and Alex replied, “yes, he is my mouthpiece, go and die.”

Alex was not happy about the claims and maintained that Mercy’s narrative about her was wrong.

Angel quits rehearsals over clash with Cee-C

Cee-C and Angel got into a fight because Cee-C chose to hand Lucy the cheerleading part that she had been playing. This made Angel lash out at Cee-C for not speaking on time and disrupting the practice they had been working on for so long.

This altercation made Mercy quit the rehearsals.

Following the argument, Angel tried talking to CeeC but she declined.

Pere and Cee-C with the ‘yam leg’

Pere and Cee-C got into a heated argument which led to insults from both parties

This fight was a result of Pere’s absence from the general meeting and cleaning activities.

Pere said, “Go and lose weight, with your yam leg”

“With your fake Tesla, borrowing Tesla to impress girls on set,” Cee-C said

Alex, Ike and the pool incident

Alex and Ike got into a grapple in the pool.

According to Alex, Ike tried to drown her.

“He was drowning me! I was drinking the water,” Alex said.

However, some housemates tried explaining to Alex that it was a misunderstanding and Ike was only playing with her

Alex later apologised to Ike in the room.

Teary Ilebaye and Whitemoney

Whitemoney and Ilebaye were involved in an argument with Ilebaye breaking down in tears. She accused Whitemoney of stopping her from using the music set for their wager.

Whitemoney, however, denied such.

Whitemoney explained to Ilebaye that he only stopped during the wager because it was masking the conversation.

Following the fight, Whitemoney vowed not to communicate with Ilebaye again until the show ended.
