Veteran Nigerian record producer, Solomon Oyeniyi, widely recognised as K-Solo, has disclosed that Mohbad’s remains will be unearthed early tomorrow morning.

K-Solo confirmed that the late artist’s father had granted permission for the police to exhume Mohbad’s body.

They have mutually agreed to proceed with the exhumation either tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.

“They have agreed that I think they should exhume this midnight or first thing tomorrow morning,” he said.

During an appearance on Channels TV’s ‘Rubbin’ Minds,’ K-Solo claimed that Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records label, was somehow connected to the untimely demise of Mohbad.

“Naira Marley is involved. He cannot tell me he is not involved. He has a hand in his death,” he said.

He strongly believes that Naira Marley is connected to the death of Mohbad. He argued that Naira Marley could not deny his involvement, especially since the person in question was under his label and was allegedly being mistreated without his intervention.

He suggested that Naira Marley should return to the country and address the situation to clear his name, emphasising that there is evidence pointing towards his involvement.

The police have established a dedicated 13-member investigative team to probe the death of Mohbad.

The Lagos state commissioner of police, Idowu Owohunwa, emphasised that the police possess exclusive access to INTERPOL. “Every individual connected to the case involving the death of Mohbad will be identified and thoroughly assessed for their level of involvement”, stated Mr Owohunwa on Monday.

The Nigerian Police made a statement to address the demise of Mohbad via its X handle as the Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, directed Mr Owohunwa to conduct a swift and thorough investigation into the death of Mohbad.

This directive was given in response to concerns and speculations surrounding Mohbad’s untimely demise. The police also encouraged anyone with relevant information to cooperate with the investigation to ensure justice is served.
