Governor Sani condoles Zulum over Waziri of Borno’s death

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has extended his heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Borno over the death of the Waziri of Borno, Mustapha Mukhtar.
This is contained in a statement by Mr Sani’s chief press secretary, Muhammad Shehu, on Sunday in Kaduna.
In a condolence message to Governor Babagana Zulum, Mr Sani described the late Waziri as a renowned scholar, community leader and exponent of the values of the Elkanemi Dynasty.
“Borno State, and indeed Nigeria, have lost a resourceful strategist and an effective communicator who was the chief adviser to the Shehu of Borno at a most challenging period.
“On behalf of myself, my family and the people of Kaduna State, I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Borno State,” the governor said.
Mr Sani also prayed fervently for the repose of Mr Mukhtar’s soul.
“May the Almighty Allah give the Mukhtar family, the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin Elkanemi and the entire people of Borno State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Mr Sani prayed.
