Governor Radda signs order to create business-friendly environment in Katsina

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has signed the “State Action on Business Enabling Reform Order” to create a business-friendly environment and promote responsible investment practices.
The chief press secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Kaula, made this known in a statement on Monday in Katsina.
He stated that the initiative is in line with the government’s commitment to foster responsible investment, particularly in land-intensive agriculture.
Mr Kaula quoted the governor as directing local taxes and levies to be paid annually through consolidated demand notices and simplifying the payment process for the business operators.
The governor also directed that the order be published in the State Gazette and circulated widely to the State Internal Revenue Service and the State Urban and Regional Planning Board to ensure transparency and efficiency.
He added that the order should also be communicated to the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment and the State Water Board, among other government establishments.
