Nigerian comedian Ada Jesus is dead

The late comedienne has been battling with kidney disease.

• April 21, 2021

Nigerian comedian Mmesoma Mercy Obi popularly known as Ada Jesus has been pronounced dead after battling with kidney disease.

The 21-year-old comedian was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after a brief cardiac arrest and was eventually pronounced dead on Tuesday April 21, 2021.

Reports stated that the Igbo comedian has been in the hospital for months.

This comes after her recent fall out with a self-styled prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemre, popularly known as Odumeje over accusing him of conducting what seems to be a fake miracle.

Amidst her struggle with the disease, the comedian issued a public apology to those she had spoken ill of in the past including Odumeje and Nollywood actress Rita Edochie.

The duo were said to have accepted her apology.
