Nigeria Vs Côte d’Ivoire: We’re not under pressure, says Super Eagles defender Ola Aina

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina says the Super Eagles are not under any pressure ahead of their second group of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) against host nation Côte d’Ivoire on Thursday.
“We are not under pressure going into the game against Côte d’Ivoire. There is no pressure for us (Super Eagles), and we are ready for the match,” told Peoples Gazette on Tuesday.
Nigeria will face the Elephant of Côte d’Ivoire in a crucial game at the Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium, Ebimpé, in a game which the Eagles must win to ease the pressure on the team following the disappointing 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea in their opening game.
Côte d’Ivoire currently sit atop the Group A table with three points after they defeated Guinea-Bissau in the tournament’s opening match of the tournament thus forcing Eagles to seek a win to boost their chances of advancing from the group.
