Queen Elizabeth endorses UK sex toy company

• April 30, 2021

Queen Elizabeth has endorsed the United Kingdom’s biggest sex toy company for its remarkable growth over the years.

The biggest Britain’s adult store, Lovehoney, popularly known as “the sexual happiness people,” was endorsed and awarded by Queen Elizabeth for the second time for its continuous growth and overall sales over the past six years.

Lovehoney is a sex toy company licensed to sell and make pleasuring sex equipment, lingerie, and exclusive Fifty Shades of Grey products from the hit erotic novel and movie.

Queen Elizabeth acknowledged the company for the growth after its sales boomed from £12 million to £56 million within the past six years.

This means the sex firm can use the Queen’s award emblem on its packaging to market and advertise its products, as it is considered a symbol of authenticity.

“We are thrilled to have received official recognition from the Queen. Her Majesty has been a wonderful supporter of Lovehoney as we have grown into being the world’s leading sexual wellness brand,” the sex toy company said.

It added, “The Queen is the UK’s greatest trade ambassador, and royal approval shows again how mainstream shoppers and retail outlets are embracing sexual wellness products as never before and appreciating their importance in improving overall well-being – a particularly important message as we come out of lockdown after a stressful year living with the pandemic.”

In 2015 the company was recognised and awarded by the Queen for boosting the British export.

The award is considered one of the most prestigious business awards.
