Shettima arrives in Enugu for project inauguration

Vice-President Kashim Shettima, on Monday, arrived in Enugu for project inauguration.
Mr Shettima, who arrived at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, at 9.52 a.m. with a presidential jet 5N-FGW, was received by Governors Peter Mbah, Hope Uzodimma, Chukwuma Soludo and Francis Nwifuru.
Others are Rochas Okorocha, former secretary to the government of the federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, traditional rulers, government officials and dignitaries.
The visit is his first to the South-East since he assumed office on May 29, 2023.
Mr Shettima is expected to attend the South-East Business Roundtable and the formal launch of the South-East phase of the Light Up Nigeria Project.
He is also expected to inaugurate the Aba Integrated Power Project organised by the Management of Geometric Power Limited.
