God bringing challenges to make Nigeria stronger: Gbajabiamila

Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, has said God is taking Nigeria through insecurity and economic challenges so the country can come out stronger and better.
Nigerians have witnessed increased insecurity as bandits continue to kidnap for ransom in the North, while unknown gunmen have continued to unleash mayhem on security officials in the South-South and southeastern part of the country.
Speaking to journalists after Eid prayer on Thursday, Mr Gbajabiamila attributed problems in the country to God’s work in other to make the country better.
“The greatest nations have gone through challenge worse than this. You never know where these things are coming from. Sometimes God takes people through challenges so that you can come out stronger, bigger, better and bolder,” Mr Gbajabiamila said. “That’s what I believe is going to happen to Nigeria.”
The Speaker said citizens should share in the blame for commotion that has befallen the country, adding that with unity the country can overcome her myriad challenges.
“This is not the time for name calling or blaming one person or the other. If truth be told, we all have equal share in the blame on whatever challenges we have. And we all must come together to make sure we resolve whatever issues we have,” Mr Gbajabiamila said.
