The other members of the committee include Paul Akhilomen, Farida Umar, Ehi Isenegbale and Timothy Osadolor, while Joseph Onu and Christy Eidangbe are electoral assistants.
While promising a level playing ground for all the contestants, Mr Iyoha, said they were in Enugu to conduct party congresses for the purpose of electing ward executive officers and three adhoc ward delegates.
“We have come to the party secretariat to present our letters to the party chairman, Augustine Nnamani, informing him that we are in Enugu to perform this task,” he disclosed.
He described ward congresses as the building block of party, saying if they got it right, everything would be smooth for the party.
The chairman thanked Enugu state government and PDP members for the unity that existed among them in the state, disclosing that the party was not factionalised unlike other states they visited.
“We want to appeal for one united PDP even after this congress.
“We believe that at the end of the exercise, it is going to be transparent with every member of the party going home with sense of belonging.
“The committee will ensure that the congress is free of crisis. Everybody will be allowed to contest and it is going to be transparent and open ballot process where persons with highest number of vote emerges a winner.
“We have enough members of the committee to cover the congress in all the 260 wards in Enugu,” he said.
