Benue govt to begin nails, leather production

The managing director (MD/CEO), Benue State Investment and Property Company (BIPC), Raymond Asemakaha, says the company will soon begin the production of zinc nails and leather.
MrAsemakaha disclosed this on Monday during his birthday celebration with staff of the company and journalists in Makurdi.
He said in the next 30 days, the company would launch a leather and zinc nail factory.
He said the company would also launch another branch of the bread factory at Naka Road in Makurdi.
He said the company had so far spent close to N700 million on its ongoing beer factory in Makurdi.
Mr Asemakaha also disclosed that he had so far created 211 direct jobs and 179 indirect job opportunities since assumption of office in 2023.
He commended Gov. Hyacinth Alia for the opportunity to serve the state and thanked God for sound health and wisdom to mark yet another day in his life.
He commended the media, especially members of Correspondents Chapel, for identifying with him on the occasion of his birthday, saying he was counting on them to succeed in office.
