Faleke distributes patrol vans to security agencies in Lagos

Rep. James Faleke (Ikeja Federal Constituency) on Monday distributed 10 patrol vans to some security agencies in Ikeja to improve security.
At the presentation of the vehiclesâ keys to the security agencies at his Ikeja constituency office, Faleke praised the agencies for dedication to their duties.
He urged them not to relent.
The beneficiaries include Lagos state police command, Ikeja police station, Area F police command, Area G police command, and Lagos State Traffic Management Agency.
The other beneficiaries are the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the State Security Service (SSS).
Mr Faleke said: â First, let me appreciate you for keeping us, the Ikeja constituency, safe on yearly basis.
âWe have continued to support you with mobility.
âI decided to be doing this yearly. This is the third year that we are doing this,â he said.
Mr Faleke appealed to the agencies to ensure that the vans would be used to protect lives and property.
â We pray that all these vehicles will be used judiciously.
âThey are not meant for personal purposes, but to provide security for the constituency, and I pray that during your tenure as officers, your tenure will witness positive impact,â Faleke told the managers of the agencies.
CSP Akinwunmi Oke, the Divisional Police Officer, Ikeja police division, commended the House of Representatives member for prioritising security.
Patrick Davou, Lagos state sector commander of the FRSC, also thanked Faleke for the gesture.
Keys to the brand new black Maxus pick up vans were handed over to the representatives of the various security agencies.
