Man in court for allegedly stealing motorcycle worth N950,000

A 32-year-old man, Gbadebo Ajayi, on Thursday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly stealing a motorcycle worth N950,000.
Mr Ajayi, whose address was not provided, was charged with stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Inspector. Musbau Lawal told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the offence on September 21, about 3.00 p.m, at Molete area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Mr Lawal alleged that the defendant stole the TVS motorcycle, belonging to the owner, Samuel Adebayo, without his consent.
He said the offence contravened Section 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Olaolu Olanipekun, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200, 000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.
He adjourned the case until November 25, for hearing.
