YouTuber Yung Filly arrested in Australia for rape, Court fixes hearing for December 19

British YouTuber and musician Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, popularly known as Yung Filly, has been arrested in Australia on charges of rape and sexual assault.
The 29-year-old was detained by police in Brisbane on October 8 before being extradited to Perth, where the alleged assault took place.
The incident reportedly occurred on September 28 following a performance at Bar120 in Hillarys, Perth.
According to authorities, the accusations stem from an event on 28 September when Yung Filly allegedly assaulted a woman in her 20s at his Perth hotel room after performing at a local venue.
Yung Filly faces multiple charges, including four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one-count of impeding a person’s breathing by applying pressure to her neck.
Police presented photographic evidence of the woman’s injuries during his court appearance.
Despite the gravity of the charges, Filly was granted bail under strict conditions, including a $100,000 personal bond and an additional surety of the same amount.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on December 19 when a committal hearing will determine whether the case proceeds to trial.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.
