What makes this story even more intriguing is Adaobi’s refusal to acknowledge the reality of their broken ‘once upon a time’ acquaintance, her silence in the face of damning accusations and the growing list of lies that have been unearthed.

Adaobi Alagwu, a young lawyer with a questionable reputation, continues presenting herself to the public as being romantically linked to Tunde Ayeni despite numerous public disclaimers. Her persistence, driven by a deep lack of self-esteem, borders on delusion. Adaobi’s narrative? Ayeni’s discrediting of her is a product of his wife’s control over him, and he will eventually return to her in contrition. 

This delusional stance has drawn significant public ridicule, with many questioning why she refuses to move on.

– I have not contracted any other legal or customary marriage to Ms. Adaobi Jennifer Alagwu or any other person for that matter.

– Ms Adaobi Jennifer Alagwu manipulated me into believing that I was the biological father of her daughter Omarosa Abimbola Ayeni.

– The purported DNA result Ms Adaobi Jennifer Alagwu claims to have is incorrect as she tampered with the DNA process by hacking into my wife’s email address, which was submitted to receive the result of the DNA. Ayeni’s affidavit was not merely a personal statement but a legal hammer that nailed Adaobi’s web of lies. His decision to go to court to swear an oath underscores the
the gravity of the situation.

Adaobi Alagwu’s gravest error was mistaking her position in Ayeni’s life. She was, at best, an entanglement—something Ayeni deeply regrets. At the time, his wife lived in Lagos, while Adaobi resided in Abuja, creating the illusion that she held a more significant role in Ayeni’s life. This misconception and her lack of self-awareness fueled Adaobi’s belief

In a move that solidified Tunde Ayeni’s disassociation from Adaobi, the King of Ijumu Land, Oba Olusegun Williams Ayeni, personally issued a disclaimer on behalf of the Ayeni Obaniwa family. The royal family’s declaration which condemned any association between

Tunde Ayeni and Adaobi emphasised their commitment to preserving the family’s dignity. The disclaimer unequivocally stated that no member of the Ayeni family would ever
communicate with Adaobi or her family, now or in the future. The declaration partly reads,

“We also want to state here clearly that none of our family members is in any form of communication with the said Adaobi Alagwu or her family, and we will never put ourselves in
a position to compromise our stand and decision now or in the future.”

This royal intervention is a testament to the importance of family honour in the Ayeni clan and the lengths they are willing to go to protect their legacy.
