FCT College of Education holds combined convocation for 1,000 graduates

The Federal Capital Territory College of Education, Zuba, says plans have been concluded for its 3rd combined convocation for more than 1,000 graduates.
The college’s provost, Sule Mundi, disclosed this during a pre-convocation press conference, in Abuja on Wednesday.
Mr Mudi said the 1,000 graduates would be presented with the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 28 programmes. He said the college last had a convocation in February 2020, adding that the combined convocation was for five consecutive sets of graduates.
He disclosed that 11 of the best students and some outstanding personalities would be honoured at the event.
The provost identified insecurity as one of the major challenges affecting the college’s permanent site.
He, however, said that the school management had provided a perimeter fence, security gatehouse and security personnel to boost safety of lives and property within the school premises.
