Ododo reshuffles Kogi hotels, tourism board

Governor Ahmed Ododo has appointed the former chairman of Kogi Hotels and Tourism Board, Philip Orebiyi, as the board’s general manager.
In a slight but strategic reshuffle, the governor also elevated the former general manager, Bilkisu Ogueyi, as the new board chairman.
The secretary to the government, Folashade Ayoade, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
The statement stated that the reshuffle was in line with the governor’s commitment to repositioning hotels and the tourism sector in Kogi.
It also announced the appointment of Bashir Tenuche as the director-general of the Kogi State Information Communication Technology Development Agency.
“The governor congratulated the appointees on their new assignment and urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties,” the statement added.
