Wizkid finally receives Grammy Award plaque

Nigeria music superstar Wizkid, finally received a Grammy Award plaque that was awarded to him early this year alongside Beyonce and Blue Ivy in the ‘Best Music Video’ category at the 2020 awards ceremony.
This comes weeks after Nigerians speculated the artist may not receive an actual Grammy plaque for his collaboration following the arrival of Burna Boy’s Grammy Plaque weeks ago.
The music star chose a casual way to welcome the package as he merely shared a picture of the award plaque on his Instagram story plainly without a caption on June 23, 2020.
The star boy’s fans were however not pleased with his low-key announcement of the much anticipated Grammy plaque on his Instagram story which automatically deletes after 24 hours.
Some attribute the Wizkid’s disposition to the action of his acquaintance, Dr Fab, who instead of delivering the courier to the winner, took it upon himself to unbox and reveal the plaque on his social media hours before he delivered it to Wizkid
Wizkid’s third baby mama and manager took to twitter to express her disgust towards Dr Fab’s action.
“Some people in life honestly have no respect & integrity. Why would you be asked to deliver something and then take it upon yourself to open the box & post it. Where is the respect! But have your moment, likes and comments. Just know this wasn’t COOL! @Tufab” she tweeted.
