Taraba chief judge issues Christmas vacation notice for high courts
On Thursday, Justice Joel Agya, chief judge of Taraba, notified the state high courts of the 2024 Christmas vacation from December 24 to January 2, 2025.
A statement by Mr Agya in Jalingo stated that the notice was in line with the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011.
It said, “Whereas it is provided under Order 8 Rule 4 (C) of the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011.
“That the civil matters shall be held on every workday except during the period beginning on Christmas Eve ending on January 2, next following.
“Now, therefore, it is hereby notified for general information that there shall be Christmas vacation of the High Court throughout the state commencing from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, to end on Thursday, January 2, 2025.”
