Governor Sule signs 2025 appropriation bill of N384.3 billion into law

Governor Abdullahi Sule has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill of N384.3 billion into law.
On Monday, Mr Sule assented to the budget at the Government House, Lafia.
Mr Sule said there was a need for a realistic budget to meet world-class expectations.
He promised his administration would not fail to ensure the budget performs optimally.
The governor affirmed his zeal and determination to ensure the effective implementation of the budgetary provisions.
The speaker of the Nasarawa House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, said the bill went through the necessary legislation before being passed into law.
Mr Jatau appreciated the seventh assembly members under his leadership for their commitment to duties.
“Your Excellency, the 2025 budget went through all the necessary legislative procedures before we passed it into law,” he said.
The speaker commended Mr Sule for his developmental strides in Nasarawa.
Earlier, the finance commissioner, Munirat Abdullahi, said the budget was prepared in line with the policy direction of Mr Sule’s administration to meet the growing expenditure and socio-economic needs of Nasarawa.
On November 29, the governor presented a budget of N382.5 billion to the assembly for consideration.
The budget is about N2 billion above the estimate the governor submitted earlier to the parliament.
