Governor Nasir Idris has urged Nigerians to embrace peace and mutual respect, regardless of ethnic, religious or cultural differences.

Mr Idris gave the advice in his New Year message on Wednesday.

“Nigeria’s diversity is a strength meant to foster unity, not division. God has created us with various backgrounds to bring us closer together as a united people.

“Let us use our differences as a source of strength and unity,” the governor said.

The governor assured Kebbi residents that in 2025, his administration would bring increased development and empowerment initiatives to improve the state’s livelihoods.

“I wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year. May 2025 bring you success, happiness, and good health.

“Let’s approach this year with renewed energy, optimism, and a commitment to make it even better than the last. Together, we can achieve greatness. Cheers to 2025,” the governor said.
