Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of House of Representatives, always considers “the voice of Nigerians,” says President Muhammadu Buhari in a birthday tribute to the lawmaker.

In a congratulatory message on Mr Gbajabiamila’s 59th birthday, issued by his media aide Garba Shehu on Thursday, Mr Buhari felicitated the speaker and his family on the auspicious occasion.

He commended Mr Gbajabiamila for the vision, maturity, and courage he brings to Nigeria’s leadership.

Mr Buhari also joined the National Assembly, particularly the House of Representatives, in celebrating the speaker “whose selflessness, forthrightness and patriotism continue to broaden the scope of policies, taking into full consideration the voice of Nigerians.’’

Mr Buhari prayed to God to grant Mr Gbajabiamila good health, more strength, and the grace for more wisdom to “keep serving the country.”
