Foundation empowers 150 entrepreneurs in Ondo community

The Eniola Home Place Foundation has empowered 150 women in Idanre, Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo state, with N50,000 each for their small-scale enterprises.
The founder of the foundation, Tosin Eniola, while presenting the cheques to the beneficiaries on Saturday, said that a similar gesture was held in 2024.
According to Ms Eniola, hundreds of women from various walks of life got clothes, cash and food items during the 2024 edition.
Ms Eniola, a Canada-based youth, explained that the cash donation would enable the beneficiaries to either start or boost their existing small-scale enterprises.
He said that the gesture would be more enduring than giving clothes and some measures of raw food, which had temporary relief.
“Over the years, the foundation has provided scholarships to numerous students and implemented impactful initiatives that transformed lives. We will not relent in touching lives positively in society.
“In the 2025 edition, we will provide potable water to deserving communities, launch skill acquisition and empowerment for youths, and provide JAMB forms for 500 students free of charge.
“I appreciate the people who collaborated, supported, and partnered with the foundation to achieve the success story being recorded,” he said.
The foundation also offered scholarships to 28 pupils in the local government area.
A beneficiary, Jose Ifeoluwa, a primary five pupil of Choice Primary School, Alade-Idanre, appreciated Ms Eniola and the foundation. She said that the gesture had brought joy and great relief to her family.
Also, Oluwasusi Kate, a 25-year-old fashion designer, noted that the money would boost her vocation and prayed for the continued success of the foundation.
Similarly, Fola Adeboyejo, a widow, thanked Ms Eniola for the gesture, praying for the favour of God on the founder as he had shown mercy on the needy.
A prominent community leader, Adekunle Akinlalu, said that Ms Eniola had been in humanitarian gestures for years without discrimination.
Mr Akinlalu urged other Idanre indigenes blessed by God to emulate the commendable gesture of Ms Eniola.
Meanwhile, Roland Eniola, the father of the donor, urged Nigerians to emulate the foundation and give to others in return for God’s blessings.
The cleric, the former chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Idanre, said, “the donor inherited the traits of giving and helping from us as parents right from his formative years.”
He advised the beneficiaries to utilise the money given to them judiciously and thanked those contributing directly or indirectly to the success of the foundation.
