Gov Uzodimma’s five years in Imo impressive, exemplary: Ex-Commissioner

A former commissioner for information in Imo, Elvis Agukwe, says Governor Hope Uzodimma’s five years in office as governor of the state have been impressive and exemplary.
Mr Agukwe said this in Abuja on Wednesday.
Mr Uzodimma became Imo governor on January 14, 2020, after the Supreme Court declared him the winner.
Mr Agukwe scored the governor high in economic transformation and political stability, adding that his collaboration with the security agencies had brought relative peace to the state.
“It has been five years of performance and exemplary leadership. I am astonished at his reliance and belief in our security agencies, having supported them to fight insecurity in the land,” he said.
The ex-commissioner, who reiterated his confidence in Mr Uzodimma’s capacity to take Imo to greater heights, urged the Imo people to continue to support him.
He noted that Mr Uzodimma had distinguished himself as a man of vision and results in his five years as governor.
According to him, the numerous roles he has played among his colleagues are a testimony that he has used power to prove that he has a mission in life.
Mr Agukwe affirmed the progress made so far by the governor regarding human capital development, road construction, and economic revival.
