Hajj 2025: Kaduna starts training for prospective pilgrims

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has begun its 2025 Hajj enlightenment and education programme for its intending pilgrims.
The training took place at the Pilgrim’s Enlightenment Centre on Wednesday in Dogarawa, Sabon Gari LGA.
The agency’s executive chairman, Salihu Abubakar, highlighted the programme’s vital role, saying that it is to empower the intending pilgrims with the necessary knowledge and skills for a successful Hajj.
He said, “The training will cover Hajj rituals, Islamic principles, and potential challenges. All these will ensure the participants are ready for the new regulations or procedures from authorities.”
Mr Abubakar urged the prospective pilgrims to make full payment to complete it before the deadline set by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
“The commission has allocated over 6,000 Hajj seats to Kaduna State for 2025,” he said.
The agency’s director of operations, Abubakar Yusuf, explained that the training would be conducted on weekends in all 23 LGAs.
Jamilu Albani, the Sabon Gari LGA chair, stressed the importance of complying with the extant laws in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia to ensure an accepted Hajj.
