Solution FC, Edel FC clash in NEROS/FA Cup final Sunday

Solution Football Club and Edel FC, both of Awka, will face each other in the final match of the 2025 NEROS Pharmaceutical/FA Cup competition in Anambra State.

Both teams play in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) and the match should present the best of entertainment at the NEROS Stadium in Nanka on Sunday.

The cup competition in Anambra, which is the state edition of the President Federation Cup, is sponsored by NEROS Pharmaceutical.

Solution FC booked a place in the final match after beating Peace FC, also of Awka, 4-1 in the competition’s first semi-final match played at the Awka Township Stadium on Tuesday.

On their part, Edel FC beat Ozalla FC 3-1 on penalty kicks on Wednesday.

Media Manager of NEROS Group, Akonan Obiefuna, said on Friday that the final match promised to be competitive and entertaining.

He urged football enthusiasts across the state to turn out en masse and cheer their darling teams to victory.
