Kosofe, Somolu LG chairmen mourn Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA boss

Mr Ogunlewe described the deceased as a committed woman who worked tirelessly for the party’s progress.

The chairmen of Somolu and Kosofe Local Government Areas of Lagos State on Saturday, mourned the executive chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of the state, Bola Shobowale.

In separate condolence messages, the chairmen described the late Shobowale’s death as a great loss to the state and the All Progressives Congress.

Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Moyosore Ogunlewe, expressed sadness over her demise, describing her as a committed woman, who worked tirelessly for the progress of the party.

He said, “I received the news of her demise with great shock. She was a dedicated public servant, who gave her all to the development of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA and Lagos State. Her dedication to public service and commitment to community development have left an indelible mark on Ayobo-Ipaja and the greater Lagos State. I extend my deepest sympathies to her bereaved family, the people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, and the entire APC Lagos family at this difficult time.’’

Also, Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Abdulhammed Salawu, expressed shock and sadness over the passing of Mrs Shobowale,

He noted that before her demise, she was a hardworking woman.

He said, “It is with a heavy heart that I received the news of the demise of the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA chairperson. On behalf of members of the executive, legislature, management and good people of Somolu, I express heartfelt condolences to members of the executive committee, legislature, management and staff, the good people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, and the APC family over this sad development. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.’’

Recall that Mrs Shobowale, the third executive chairman of the LCDA, who died on Friday, battled an undisclosed illness for a long time before she succumbed to death.
