Taraba high courts begin Easter vacation April 21

The chief judge of Taraba, Justice Joel Agya, has announced that the 2025 Easter break will start on April 21.
The break will end on April 27.
The announcement was made in Legal Notice No. 2, 2025, signed by the chief judge in Jalingo on Thursday.
Mr Agya said the notice was in line with the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules of 2011.
“It is provided under Order 8 Rule 4(C) of the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011 that the sitting of the high court for the dispatch of cases shall be held on every weekday except during the week beginning with Easter Monday.
”Now, therefore, it is hereby directed for general information that there shall be an Easter vacation of the high court throughout the state commencing from April 21 to 27,” he said.
