Ondo LG boss inaugurates six utility vehicles, one firefighting truck

The Executive Chairman, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Andrew Ogunsakin, has inaugurated six brand-new utility vehicles for council leaders and key members of the management team.
He also inaugurated a modem firefighting truck procured by the state government for emergency purposes.
Mr Ogunsakin, at the inauguration on Tuesday at the LG Secretariat, said that the aim was to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery.
He said that the utility vehicles were a testament to his administration’s commitment to promoting efficiency, mobility, and effective supervision across all departments of the council.
He said that the gesture was part of ongoing efforts to reposition Okitipupa LGA for improved grassroots development.
He stated, “These vehicles are not mere gifts; they are tools of service. I urge beneficiaries to utilise them judiciously for the greater good of our people. I charge the council leaders and management staff to be proactive and dedicated to their responsibilities. I urge them to remain committed to quality service delivery that will meet the needs and aspirations of the people.’’
Mr Ogunsakin, while inaugurating the modem firefighting truck procured by the state government for emergency purposes, expressed gratitude to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his unwavering support to grassroots governance.
He said that the newly delivered firefighting truck would significantly enhance the council’s capacity to respond to emergencies and safeguard lives and property across Okitipupa and its environs. Various heads of departments and other council workers attended the ceremony.
