Eid-el-Kabir: PDP urges prayers for Nigeria

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir and sought prayers for divine intervention in the affairs of the nation.
The party stated this in a Sallah message released by its national publicity secretary, Debo Ologunagba, in Abuja.
It urged Nigerians to remain patriotic and reinforce their faith in the unfailing love, kindness and provision of God.
The party urged Nigerians to do so in spite the prevailing economic, security and social challenges confronting the nation.
“The PDP charges Nigerians not to give up hope but remain patriotic, continue to share with one another at this trying time and pray constantly for God’s divine intervention in the affairs of the nation,” it said.
It urged leaders to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir to imbibe the fear of God, address insecurity, tackle corruption and recover all stolen money.
“Such stolen funds must be recovered and channeled towards the provision of critical infrastructure, revamping the productive sector and enhancing the operations of our security agencies,” the party said.
It called for a review of all policies affecting the people, urging the government to reduce the cost of fuel, electricity tariff and charges on critical services.
The PDP urged President Bola Tinubu to use his remaining two years in office to promote the wellbeing of Nigerians in line with the demand for selflessness and submission to the will of God.
It felicitated Nigerians and wished the nation a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
