Nigerian Army corporal caught on camera assaulting woman at ATM point

A video has surfaced on Twitter showing a soldier apparently beating a woman at an ATM point in Lagos.
The lance corporal, identified as F. Omoh, pulled his belt to hit the woman, despite concerted plea from those present that he should not attack.
A video said to have been shot at the scene was posted on Twitter by Ada Oma (@vels20). The incident reportedly occurred Monday morning at a UBA ATM point in Oshodi.
A spokesman for the Nigerian Army in Lagos did not return multiple requests seeking comments about the soldier’s conduct.
Nigerian soldiers have gained notoriety for assaulted civilians, often on frivolous charges of verbal abuse or wearing a camouflage.
