U.S. Congress passes Donald Trump’s landmark Big Beautiful Bill in historic vote
The U.S Congress on Thursday passed President Donald Trump’s landmark Big Beautiful Bill.
The bill will extend tax cuts and slash the social safety net initiative in the U.S.
The bill was passed for presidential assent after fierce debate that lasted about 30 hours among U.S. lawmakers.
The final vote count on the bill saw 218 Republican lawmakers vote in favour of the bill, while 214 Democrats opposed it.
