Gov. Radda involved in ‘minor’ accident along Daura-Katsina road: Official

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, was on Sunday involved in a car accident.
Sources said Mr Radda was returning from Daura to Katsina State when the accident occurred.
The spokesperson for the governor, Ibrahim Mohammed, confirmed the accident in a statement.
Mr Mohammad said Mr Radda was involved in ‘a minor accident’ while carrying out ‘official duties’ on Sunday.
“Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor road accident this evening along the Daura-Katsina Road, while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State,” he said in the statement.
Mr Mohammad added, “We are pleased to confirm that the governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained. Governor Radda remains in high spirits and expresses his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.”
