Tinubu congratulates Shettima’s wife, Ashafa on birthday anniversaries

The first lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Tuesday, celebrated Nana Shettima, wife of the vice-president, on her 50th birthday.

The first lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Tuesday, celebrated Nana Shettima, wife of the vice-president, on her 50th birthday.

Mrs Tinubu, in her congratulatory message, said, “As you celebrate your 50th birthday anniversary this day, I rejoice with you, your husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and loved ones.

“Your life has been one of service, dedication, and commitment to the well-being of your family and upliftment of not only your beloved state, Borno, but Nigeria as a whole.

“Working with you has not only been pleasurable but complementary. I say thank you for being a worthy partner. I pray you celebrate many more years in divine health, peace, joy, and happiness. Happy 50th birthday, Nana.”

Mrs Shettima is the current deputy chairwoman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, the national pet project of the president’s wife.

Mrs Tinubu also congratulated Bareehu Gbenga-Ashafa on his 70th birthday.

Mr Ashafa is the managing director of the Federal Housing Authority and a former senator for the Lagos East senatorial district.

“I heartily rejoice with you, your family, well-wishers, and associates on this joyous occasion of your 70th birthday. Your life of service, leadership, contributions to public service, and legislative development are worthy of commendation.

“May Almighty God continue to grant you strength and wisdom as you continue to be of service to our beloved Nation. I wish you many more years of divine health, joy, and continued fulfilment. Happy 70th Birthday,” Mrs Tinubu said.
