A house agent, Achile Hassan, was on Thursday arraigned in a Life Camp Chief Magistrates’ Court, Abuja, for allegedly swindling his client of N210,000.
Hassan, of Dape Life Camp Abuja, was charged with criminal breach of trust and cheating.
The police prosecutor, Charity Nwachukwu, told the court that the complainant, Okoeroego Uche, of Akaraka Gawgwa road, Abuja, reported the matter at the Life Camp Police Station on August 14.

She said that during police investigation and interrogation the defendant made a confessional statement.
She said that the offence contravened the provisions of Sections 312 and 322 of the Penal Code.
The Magistrate, Musa Jobbo, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with one surety in like sum.
Mr Jobbo ordered that the surety must reside within the court’s jurisdiction.
He adjourned the case until October 2 for hearing.
