Israeli forces kill ISIS leader Muhammad Abu Zubaida in Palestine

Israeli soldiers have eliminated Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Abu Zubaida, leader of the Islamic State terrorist group in Gaza.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in a statement posted on X on Friday, announced that Mr Abu Zubaida was killed in the Bureij area in Palestine.
“ELIMINATED Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Abu Zubaida, Head of the Palestine District of the ISIS terrorist organization, in the Bureij area,” the IDF announced.
According to the IDF, Mr Abu Zubaida was the most senior ISIS figure in Gaza, responsible for determining policy, planning, and overseeing the terrorist organization’s activities across Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and the Sinai Peninsula, as well as transferring combat equipment and funds into Gaza.
Mr Abu Zubaida’s elimination is the latest among leaders of terrorist groups killed by Israeli soldiers.
Since a war broke out between Israel and Palestine following Hamas’ October 7 attack that killed over 1,000 people and left over 200 held hostage, Israeli soldiers have invaded Palestine, eliminating three Hamas leaders.
So far, the IDF has eliminated Mohammed Sinwar, Yahya Sinwar, and Ismail Haniyeh in different coordinated attacks as hostilities continue.
