Hamas’ military spokesman Abu Obaidah killed: Israel Defence Forces

The Israel Defense Forces on Sunday announced the elimination of top Hamas’ official, Abu Obaidah.
In a statement posted on social media, the IDF announced that “Abu Obaidah,” head of Hamas’ military wing,” has been “eliminated.”
According to the IDF, Mr Obaidah was one of the last remaining senior terrorists of Hamas’ Military Wing from before October 7, 2023.
IDF said the slain Hamas spokesman “led propaganda and psychological terror campaigns, spreading footage of abducted Israeli civilians and soldiers and atrocities of the October 7th Massacre.”
Mr Obaidah’s elimination is the latest among leaders of terrorist groups killed by Israeli soldiers, following Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Abu Zubaida, leader of the Islamic State terrorist group in Gaza, killed on Friday.
Israeli soldiers hunted leaders of Hamas, killing three of them since a war broke out between Israel and Palestine following Hamas’ October 7 attack that killed over 1,000 people and left over 200 held hostage.
So far, the IDF has eliminated Mohammed Sinwar, Yahya Sinwar, and Ismail Haniyeh in different lingering coordinated attacks between Israel and Palestine.
